About the different kimonos:

The two black small kimonos are boys kimono, made to wear to the Shichi-Go-San festival. This festival is for children aged shichi (7), go (5) and san (3). They dress in elaborate kimono and go to a shrine for a blessing.

Japanese Family Crests

Just like the Medieval European families had heraldic shields, the Japanese daimyo families had a crest, called a kamon. Can you find the kamons of the kimonos I have? Learn about them here: https://web-japan.org/trends/11_fashion/fas181202.html

This is the Tokugawa kamon. One of the kimonos I have features this kamon.
